    2007.

Never seen the stadium empty so quickly...

The quarters has become a bit of a stumbling block. Actually, strike that, the whole European saga has always been a massive car crash.
I can only see it as a supplementary income stream for as long as we?re in it.

We'll have Martinelli and Saka back....hopefully. I do sort of agree with you though

For about 5 or 6 sides, it is a realistic aim. For the rest of us, it is money and a 'you never know, one day' kind of thing.

We really should be one of those 5 or 6 sides....not without a recognised striker though

I've just checked with the bookies and, at this stage, we are 4th favourites to be the outright winner behind Liverpool, Barca and Real Madrid.

    Really?

    Madness imo.

We have a cat in hell's chance of winning it. Which is more than you can say about the league

Just have to write it off as a bitterly disappointing season. Everyone has them.

It does irritate to know that we?re one of Europe?s richest clubs and yet we?ve found ourselves in a situation where, at the business end of the season, a club like Palace offers a greater current threat upfront, meanwhile, our main competitor finds Nunez surplus to requirements.
Is it all down to pox luck with injuries,
or does squad management play a role ? How much notice have we had about the brittle physicality of Jesus over the years, while at the same time, massively over playing Saka.
We partly reap what we sew.

Eddie, late subbed in the 86th minute, and getting on the scoresheet.
