Can we sign a ****ing striker?

Sick of watching these reclamation projects fanny about in every part of the pitch apart from where a striker should be. Then when they're finally in the box you get that **** from Havertz last night. We were chasing a goal and Havertz and Jesus were passing it around down the right hand side while we had Saliba and Gabriel in the box. I've had enough.

Think about the poor souls born in the last 15 years. The only strikers they've seen at the club are Aubameyang, Lacazette.

I know Martinelli missed that chance but I'd love to see him given a shot through the middle. Think he's got a lot more to offer than just a winger.

It would be worth it just to have someone looking to run in behind, although i would still prefer to sign a proven CF. I was watching the Brighton game and noticed Jesus pretty much dropping into the left back position to receive the ball. It can't go on.

Agree regarding the striker but it's not going to happen in January, so I'd give Martinelli a crack.

He did more in that 15 seconds than we managed in he rest of the game. About the only incident where we looked like we knew exactly what we were doing. I know he missed, but even so......

6 inches left and it's a cracking goal and finish. I think he has a very similar skill set to Isak.

Not to say that a top class striker wouldn't help, but it really isn't going to solve the problem. This group of players is capable of producing consistent excellence and we haven't come close to it, even once, this season.

What is worse is that Arteta doesn't seem to have managed to improve this at all over the last 3 months. There are specific issues but across the board the team just isn't functioning the way it should. Some big decisions ahead, chief among them being that our two best central midfielders simply dont fit together. Rice is horribly wasted playing in this left half position, it simply isnt his game. Long term, I dont think he and Partey can play together.

I dont know whether it would work with him through the middle. I do know that he is wasted out there on the left in a side that just doesnt get the ball and support to him at the same time. He always ends up taking possession out on the touchline, as though he is Stanley Matthews. Nobody but opponents within 20 yards of him. We're completely wasting a player of huge value.

Great touch, pace and he really can finish. Certainly give defenders something to think about.
