Well, on Saturday we had two GREAT chances in the first half.

Agree, though; we are a machine.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

a slightly stronger bench would be nice, I know we've been unlucky with our new signings being injured.

I am quite excited to see Sterling play.

I think we did panic a little bit on Saturday after going down to ten men.
Odegaard didn't look right to me. looks sick.

Our midfield hasn't looked great so far. Partey has been sluggish and I am not convinced that Rice is comfortable wandering out to the left. You could even argue he is wasted there.

That is our current issue. We're not playing badly, we are just not in full swing yet. Our next two games would be a great time to start finding a bit of rhythm.

I think there was a fair bit of shock and anger after the sending off. Took a while to settle. We need to shake that off. Leave the seething rage to us fans- we're good at it

All is forgiven; he'll actually be our new #30.

Can't disagree but I think the same thing was said last season (of course the rebuttal to that is we didn't win the league but we couldn't have done much more). I think, for better or worse, we are quite a mechinical side and once it clicks we we go big

True, and that is one big concern. We tend to build rhythm through repetition, and that generally involves picking substantially the same XI each week. We are now at a stage where a degree of rotation is going to be essential, and not just at left back. I'm sure we can cope, but we will have to.

The other thing in our favour is we seem to continue to improve defensively which offers the opportunity to win games even when you aren't at your best. Again, essential.

I think we can have a good season but I am afraid I just don't see us getting past City. They cruise through 80 or 90% of their matches and there is always a feeling that they have another gear. The closer we get, the better they perform.

At least we have finished top of the honest league twice in a row

The concern with that is that how long can we keep our best players if we're not actually winning the damn thing?

It actually amazes me how much more positive opposition fans are about us. Out with a Liverpool fan and Inter fan on Friday both thought we would win the league (or Champions League)
