I saw the Simon Evans piece. Very good, although you'd like to have hoped that it wouldn't need to be said gloating about someone else's misery (brought about by tragic personal circumstances wholly beyond their control) isn't really a good look.
    fair point

One reason I really hate google is that when Chrome came out, I downloaded it to have a look. 2-3 days later, there was an article on the Beeb website, saying that someone had gone through the 28 pages of terms and conditions and that google would own the copyright to anything uploaded through it.

So we could work on a film for 5 years, and if we uploaded it to Vimeo or Dropbox or Youtube through Chrome, then they would own it.

They're scum. They claimed they'd just copied and pasted it from some other set of terms. The fact their motto is "don't do evil" is really rubbing our noses in it.

At the Simon Evans gig last Friday, about 5 minutes before he was due on stage I tweeted him a photo of the audience (taken from the back of the room) and said "Never seen so many white people in one place. Fascist".

He promptly came on and started the gig by riffing on my tweet for a few minutes

Anyway, more interestingly, as revealed during the gig, he recently found out (through a DNA test) that he's half-Jewish! His real dad was a prolific Jewish sperm doner who fathered over 1,000 children. The upshot of this is that in seconds Simon Evans went from thinking he was an only child to having over 1,000 half-siblings (many of whom he has now connected with in real life).

    Mental, huh?

Prob best not to mention anything on Twitter to avoid spoilers.

Yes. He does look quite Jewish, now I think about it.

Also, could you please correct your spelling of 'donor'. Nobody wants to think about a 'sperm doner' - let alone a Jewish one!
