Also, they have a decidedly low opinion of those of us who remain, I notice. Hardly shining examples of the kinder, gentler politics so beloved of Grandpa Semtex.
Harvey and Neg were always poisonous ****s, though, if we're honest. Frimmers was OK, but a bit chippy, plus he's a cyclist and a teacher - a combination of pursuits that ought always to have made one suspicious. Withnail thought The Clash were good, which is always a sign of terrible judgement.

Why do you assume I will???? IF I didn't vote Tory it would be LDEMS (Labour have no chance of winning where I live), and we are one of the few outposts that voted remain

A vote for the Lib Dems is a vote to put Corbyn in Downing Street. So I'm right and you are, in effect, voting for Jeremy Corbyn.

He's not a teacher, he's an automotive electrician. I'm not sure that makes much difference though.

I'd be much more inclined to jam electric wires up their japseye and start cranking up the juice, to be honest.
the way you're not really going to vote for a mendacious, sexually incontinent, islamophobic, democracy hating Bullingdon quarter-wit are you?

That's right. His wife's a teacher. I'm thinking of her. I seem to remember him waxing vituperative about Michael Gove on one occasion for having the temerity to attempt to improve the education system against the wishes of the communists who make up 95% of the teaching profession.

Let's just break that down h:

    1. Mendacious. So he's a politician. But we knew that.
    2. Sexually incontinent. You don't care where he sticks his winkle. Neither do I. Neither does anyone.
    3. Islamophobic. Because of the 'letterbox' line? In an article supporting the right of Muslim women to wear it if they like? I'd say his attititude is significantly less Islamophobic than the governments of the extremely liberal European nations which have banned the burkha.
    4. Democracy-hating? He is the only party leader who is determined to abide by the result of the referendum. So that would make him the opposite of democracy-hating.
    5. Bullingdon? He was a member of a dining club at university. I expect you sank a few at the student bar while you were getting your City & Guilds in Jobbie Studies. So what?
    6. Quarter-wit. He is an extremely intelligent chap. His biography of Churchill, for example, is quite excellent. You struggle with the signature when you sign on mate.

Withnail surprises me if I'm honest, would never see him as supporting someone like Corbyn.

Frimmers is loyal to his working class roots. Neg is Belgian and married a Jock, he deserves our sympathy.

Ian Harvey is an appalling human being. Didn't you attend his wedding?

Nope - can't really vote for any of the options set out. I am definitely not voting for the Johnson-led Conservative party but have no wish to vote for Labour. I might see if Holborn and St Pancras has a Scottish National Party candidate running -they at least seem like fun. Of course, due to our pathetic electorial system it doesn't really matter - Labour have a 30,000 majority in my constituency.
