This Tim fella's interest in promoting Women's football is highly suspicious. As suspicious as a flamboyant homosexual who has a passion for working with young boys.
The women's game IS profitable in the US. That's just the point. You can make an argument similar to that of, say, a lesser men's league, like Germany, where there are only a couple good teams and Bayern wins it most years. Hence, you could say that the US and German women's teams deserve the lion's share of revenue. But you can't argue that the US women's team doesn't generate revenue, because that's not supported by the evidence.
I know, evidence. What am I thinking?

"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.
"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
I think you're right. Or else rampant socialist dystopias like Sweden. Amazons one and all, and who manifest no interest in the D.
Have you seen a picture of him? Definitely register-worthy.
Mind you, I find football women remarkably sexless. I think it's the fact that they're dressed like men doing a man's sport - puts me right off.
In middle age I was a decent and destructive club batsman. In my youth I was a very good club/league batsman and a bang average County Colts player. None of these qualifies me to speak with authority on telly about the pressures or experience of playing test cricket. Same goes for some bird talking about playing in the World Cup.
