    I bet the meat is of far too good a quality and the pastry too crisp. These are crucial aspects of Greggs' sausage rolls imo.

    Not as a matter of course. But if you happen to be in there then you really should get one. I assure you that you'll never have one more delicious.

    Greggs seem like a disappointment in comparison. Greggs ones are also too soft and, as a result, are essentially over before they started.

    There you are, you see? The softness is very much part of the appeal of Greggs efforts for me.

    When I lived in Kensington, I did used to pop to Knightsbridge get the best kebab ever and at £12 it needed to be!!

    The softness makes me doubt the quality of the meat being used, though. The F&M wons are about 2 inches high by 3 inches wide. 75% of that is meat and this, for me, makes for a great meat to pastry ratio.
