    Who writes this shyte ?

Arteta tipped to take over from Pep at City. FFS.
Why would anyone see that as his next move ?
There’s only one place to go for MA after Arsenal and that’s Spain.
From what I’m also reading, City will, in all probability drop down a league or two following the verdict, which means they’ll likely follow a mass exodus of players.
New rules mean they won’t be able to re buy the league again, so I’d expect this season to be their last hurrah for some time.
You can tell they’ve got the sh1ts over it all; Pep’s keeping up the verbal tirade against the other PL clubs who want them punished.
He seems a bit on the edge these days. The crying and handwringing after they get hit with the fines will be excruciating for all of us, as we endure wave after wave of interviews telling the PL and the other top clubs they’re all Kyunts who ripped away his legacy, or something along those lines.

This might not be a popular opinion but I don't want them hit with anything this season, especially not the docking of points. I want to beat them and when we do I don't want to hear any excuses.

I still think they will get away with it. The longer this drags on the more likely it gets.

I wouldn't be that surprised if Arteta ended up there. The freedom and voice Pep gets given would appeal to him more than Real or Barcelona role where you are largely just a hired coach, managing a team put together by other people.

I don't think he'd go there, he has no real association with the club other being Pep's number 2. Can definitely see him at Barca at some point.

I notice it's all gone quiet about City apparently winning the case about PSR. SSN said you'd notice if they amended the rules on the website and it's been over a week and they're still the same (not because I've read the rules, just that SSN said they'd check it and report if changed)

There’s absolutely no way they’ll swerve all 130 charges. The PL’s governance would become untenable in the eyes of the rest of the league, bar Chelsea & Newcastle.
They may avoid full expulsion but something heavy is coming their way.

This is now purely a legal battle where anything can happen. The PL's governance is and always has been an absolute joke so the notion of it becoming untenable is like accusing water of being wet.

The very fact that we are talking about charges for things that happened 10 years ago tells you a lot.

That's pretty much my take, unless they say that the Portuguese hacker's evidence is inadmissible, which I'm lead to believe is the core of their defence.

The good thing is that we are good again. He is clearly very happy at Arsenal and a this point there are only a handful of clubs who would offer him better opportunities for winning stuff. At this stage, City are one of them.

However.... another year with us and we will have burned all his bridges with City

Water isn't wet m'lud. A solid surface being touched by liquid becomes wet. Water itself is not wet.
