Either our movement off the ball is better

or PSG is allowing more space in midfield than we are used to. Or both.

We seem to be passing the ball through the lines much better tonight. Impressive.

As an aside. Martinelli is starting to pi55 me off tbf. Really stinking the place out tonight.
    Confidence completely gone.

Other than his finishing I thought he was good, he clearly lacks conviction in front of goal, hopefully that will come again as he’s not been short of it in the past

I thought he was excellent. Probably should have had one goal, the volley especially.

Yeah - bizarre thing to say after the last two games when he is clearly coming back to form. Brilliant cross for Havertz as well (which he probably should have done better with but his goal was superb.)

Alan Smith himself would have been proud of that goal.

Although Alan would probably have buried the second one

I logged in this morning to say this
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Kai is not so good at getting power on the header from a standing start. He is very accurate but, as with most of his game, he is more about deft than heft.

    He was brilliant last night.

I was watching a few old clips the other day and, I know how obvious this is going to sound, but I'd forgotten what an unbelievable player Liam Brady was

Still probably the best player we have ever produced.
