Looks like we may have a problem with Raya

If he is out for an extended period that is a massive kick in the teeth

Not even in the squad tonight. 2-3 weeks, I suppose
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

The gaffer will have his reasons but I am shocked that rice and saka are starting.

Perfectly understandable, there's cheap wickets and easy runs on offer. After toughing it out in the harder games against better opposition, why would you want to let somebody else get them.

Gerd Muller did not score a thousand times against Real Madrid; the vast majority of his goals came against cannon-fodder.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to give martinelli a free hit.

Sure. That's the idea. It's good to have a squad.

    Nice game, this.

Couple of very useful young lads. Nwaneri and Lewis skelly.

Poor keeper looked terrified. He did OK.

The perfectly weighted pass MLS played to Raheem for Ethan's first was a thing of beauty. Like Bergy or Cesc. Yes, they'd do that against the very best teams etc etc but it was still my fave bit of the night.

Getting rid of ESR {who unsurprisingly is looking amazing} and Fabio means there's a route for young Ethan.

But MLS has 5 ahead of him for LB, and God knows how many ahead of him on the wing.
