Once we get away games at Spurs, City, Newcastle and Chelsea out of the way (4 of our next 5 away games, I think) we will have played almost all the toughest games. Only horrible trips left are Old Trafford and Anfield (penultimate game of the season).

We may be adrift by the start of November but we are capable of putting together a long, long run of wins from then on.

But secondly, and more importantly, the ****tish, clueless pundits will drivel on about how we should have bought a centre forward for several hundred million.

Both Edu and Arteta have shown great skill in totally ignoring the fanfare around them and the idiotic demands of all and sundry. I think it comes from knowing exactly what you want and having a clear plan.
