I have just devianted. I voted a number for a player on the Arseblog player ratings

Kai.

Arseblog and all the voters had given him 8.

I don't care about the opposition, and I'll ignore it's his first start.

He scored a very good goal. Gorgeous pass for the first. Pretty much an assist for the third - I think it was going in without Gabby's touch, but semi-assist, pre-assist, whatever.

3 in 45 mins. HTF is that not a 9? Sorry. That's why I felt compelled to deviant.

PS, I know it's crap opposition, and it's a sample size of less than one {0.5 of a match to be precise} but Vik looked a different player with Kai. How much having Easy as a 2nd 10 mattered I dunno. Would it work as much with Zubi-Dec-Kai? Was it a one off?

But for the 45 mins with Kai, Vik looked like the player we hoped we'd signed.

And I include the putting it over from 3 yards in that. **** happens. On the stretch. Right place, right time, just bad luck.

Always loved Kai. Reminds me of Ozil in that Spitting Image "A fairly modest German" way. Both have/had almost Bergy levels of talent on occasion but both look unhappy and unappreciated.

But back to the point. Am I wrong? 3 goal creations in 45 mins only an 8? So glad he's back. Please don't break him, MA.

I doubt he will be considered ready for 90 minutes yet. But hopefully we'll see him involved in games from now on, and starting games in a week or two.

I wouldn't read too much into anything we saw last night in terms of formation. That was a pub team. And not a good one.

Oh, I know all that. It was more about the idiocy of player ratings causing me to deviant.

Goal and basically 2 assists in 45 mins - with no major errors, misses, badly misplaced passes etc - and it's only an 8?

But I like the idea of more Kai generally, and more Vik and Kai together.

Btw, that would be the pub team that were the only team in the CL groups stages to put 2 past us, and the only won not to lose by 2 or more to us?

They must have better boozers in Kairatistan than they do in Munich, Milan, Madrid etc.

Btw, didn't you manage a pub team? Is it jealousy?

I watched the game. They were ****ing useless :-(

If we had needed a 7 goal win last night we would have got it. In the circumstances, I wouldn't read too much into the result.

And the score of 8...I would guess it was based on him only playing 45 minutes.

I'm just saying this player ratings thing is idiocy. But we all knew that anyway.

Did you manage a pub team? And did you ever play any friendlies against Kairatstani boozers?

It wasnt a pub team exactly. A team we started as a bunch of mates and I took over as manager in the second season.

And no, most of the pub sides we played were in Cheshunt. Nasty *******s. Racist as **** :-(

Oh, I never listen to their podblog or whatever it is. I'm not a full deviant. It's just player ratings amuse me so I always have a gander.

I did listen to Alan Davis's thing back in the day. But vaguely witty verbal ad-libbing is his day job so he was ok at it.
