I guess Ricky C could play CH {he is two-footed} with MLS at LB. And if push came to shove, Dec could play CH.
Imagine both Dec and Ricky at CH, with that Real Sociedad MF of Zubi, MnM and Odin ahead of them and MLS inverting into MF with JT or BW also bombing forward and playing in MF.
MnM's being playing superbly. I hope that counts as an assist for him and it was a beautifully weighted eye-of-a-needle pass to B.
When he missed 3 headers against the Hun, I said I hoped he was saving them for games when they would matter more. And now he's scored against the Chavs and the Bees.
We've conceded two corners but all the other goals we've scored have been world class. And since City, after which we only had 2/3rds of the points of LFC and everyone said we'd be struggling to get into Europe, the only points we've dropped have been to a superbly executed last-minute equaliser and a corner that might would've been offside. And that despite all the injuries. Could be worse.
And the Scousers draw and the Chavs lose.
