I’m finishing on Friday. I’ve done 5lbs in 3 weeks, and that’s sort of enough.

On Friday night I’m going to eat a plateful of chips.
I've been at it about seven weeks and I've lost a stone or so. Might as well carry on imo. It doesn't bother me as much as it does you.

Mind you, I've got sacks of potatoes I've grown and am having to give away. That irks a little. And I haven't even dug up my maincrop yet!

If you had to choose one carb that you were allowed, which would it be? Bread? Spuds? Pasta?

I think it would have to be bread for me.

Bread, definitely bread. You can use it to soak up your gravy, for all love.

Exactly. And all manner of lovely juices. There is literally no point in eating certain things without bread.
