Yes I did. I re-fried the chips and served them with breakfast.

Don't let anyone ever try to tell you that a full English breakfast isn't improved by chips, because it is. Dipping a chip into your yolk is simply the finest breakfast activity. From now on my fry ups will always include chips.
I left the pub at 5.30 on Sunday morning and then had to go to the ****ing St Patrick's day paradeat noon. With drums and pipes and people being really loud. Your morning sounds way better

Without wishing to sound churlish, why did they not have the St Patrick's Day parade on...y'know...St Patrick's Day?

It's always on the Sunday beforehand - I don't even know why they have one. I hate it

    Two points, if I may.

    1. The pubs are open at 0530 hours?
    2. This seems necessarily late for a man of your vintage to stay out. Haven't you learnt that nothing good ever happens after midnight?

1 It was a lock-in - though they generally can stay open later here anyway. I think the latest/earliest I have left a pub is 9am after the McGregor/Mayweather fight. Stayed pretty late a couple of times during the Ashes as well
2 Absolutely not, doc. Shocking planning
