That is actually a thing, not so much with mine but certainly amongst the Afghan Hound fancy,; they get all kinds of grief.

Haha, no. They already have a beard. Further, extensive google searching rural South-Central Asian locations hunting down Country-of-Origin specimens tends to excite interest in a certain sort, in this climate. I understand it was even worse just before we actually invaded the place.
