Yup. According to the ONS, in Winter 2017, there were 31,000 'excess' deaths of old people in the UK. This is now pretty standard. In effect, tens of thousands of people every year die of cold because of high energy prices brought about by green taxes.

Yeah. Problem with that argument is that the trend pre-dates 'Austerity' and pretty accurately tracks the imposition of environmentally-motivated energy taxation going back to the late 90s.
