The language of abuse is an international one and does not recognise borders.

I am surprised at Pedro all the same.

Jews, Portuguese, invalids. Where does it end.

Well I think he's making the beast with two backs with the Jewish lady and some dirty dago sardine-muncher has racially abused her.

I don't know if anyone involved is a raspberry.

Surely that's Spanish anyway? They use it for Christian darkies too.

Just a bit of banter. Sticks and stones and a' that.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

P just wants to buy her some flowers or a new car or something if he needs to impress her. This ersatz hard man, gallant hero and fierce protector act is always a mug's game for his sort and it doesn't fool anyone, least of all the damsel in question.
