    Actually, using Sir C's measure .. wouldn't they be Shane "The Chaise Longue" Long, and Jimmy "the book case" case... doesn't work as well imo

    I think it should also work for small players. So we could have had Santi 'The Occasional Table' Cazorla.
    Or it could relate to ethnic origin, as in Mesut 'The Ottoman' Ozil.
    Or sexual orientation, as in Thomas 'The Pouffe' Hitzlsperger
