    My pet peeve in this regard is the amount of money we pile into cyclists. New lanes, places to park their silly things etc etc

    I'm betting cyclists are a net drain.

    Oh yes

    And some of my trains now have 2 less seats near the door. Not sure if that is for the cyclists or the raspberries?

    Especially when you consider how many of them end up hurling themselves under the wheels of lorries, resulting in expensive court cases, hospital bills, lifetime care, etc, etc.
