Yes but you'd think the world is full of them. Anyway what makes them a less deserving minority than all the others, if they truly believe in what they're doing?
Well I'd agree that there is an unhealthy obsession with them. Mind you, at the risk of uttering hate speech against our nonceing brethren, having it off with children is a bit distasteful, really, isn't it?
It's a popular stance because we, our society, doesn't actually care for children anymore. Socially, politically we are really quite anti-child and anti-family so the media hysteria is a crude McGuffin intended to mask that fact.
