    Arteta

He needs to win the PL now...or he must be gone.

    Piss poor game management.
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

**** the title. He needs to stop playing this atrocious football.

I'm at the stage where I actually dread watching away games. If he cant see the problem then he should go.

    Title race is done.

No, don?t agree, I. He?s done an amazing job to recover from the situation we were in post Wenger.

If he wins any trophy this year and we finish 2nd he stays. But he has to learn, and to change.

In which case he's gone. We have been exposed and no-one fears us. Just let Arsenal have the ball. Wait for them to fanny ball it back to you. When it gets to injury time, get the ball into their box. They get so nervous there's a good chance of it ending up in the net.

Tonight was the epitome of his cautious management style. And to what cost?

Too often. Too poor. Too dreary.

We'll be accused of bottling it. And we will have.

The players visibly didn't want the ball tonight.

These are the same performances we've produced for two years. Only now, with some pressure, we are making mistakes and gifting the goals.

But the fundamental refusal to play the game once we are in front is the problem. You can't win the league playing with fear week in, week out.

Arteta cant take us any further than second unless he is willing to accept this. And is able to change it. I honestly dont think he is.

He's moved us on from Wenger and Emery, granted.

But he appears to have taken us as far as he can. We need to go gung-ho. What have we got to lose?

    But he won't, of course.

Game management mode is the default and it's ****. We've seen this coming for ages.

A fragile mentality is clear. And maybe tonight it shattered.

The fragility is part of it.

Everything about our approach to the game screams of fear and a lack of trust. Arteta wants to be able to control and rehearse every action, remove every risk.

He is telling his players that he doesn't trust them. Hardly a surprise that they dont trust themselves.

Unless he fundamentally changes the way we approach games, we are going to keep going backwards.

We were a better side two years, and three years ago. Never mind the lack of trophies. The performances, rhe football and the results are getting worse.

And we keep giving him more players. And we just get more negative.

If ever there was a need to bring Patrick Lencioni in as a coach...
