So this Turk manager who flung hmself to the ground

when that odious little Portuguese c*nt pinched his nose.

    Pathetic. Utterly pathetic.

But more importantly, a missed opportunity to turn around and chin Mourinho good and proper. If ever there was an opportunity to level that c*nt with relatively little resulting punishment, it was then.

I'm gutted he didn't lay Mourinho out

I remember the shock on his face when he tried to square up to Wenger and Wenger shoved him away

Wenger is actually quite a scary man - I was surprised by how big he was when I met him

That clip of him in the stands at OT is quite astonishing. The United fans around him are being remarkably pleasant, laughing and joking. That could easily have turned very nasty....

And if I recall the c*nt of a referee on the sideline who had him sent there was none other than Lee Probert.

The same Lee Probert that denied us at least 3 clear penalties in an FA Cup final.

I'm not a fan of Lee. I wish I had Monty's cancer gun.

I do remember he was roundly condemned for it almost immediately, and I believe Wenger got a letter of apology for how he had been treated.

    That wouldn't happen now.....

Wki says "as a young teenager, he was called Petit; the nickname ceased when he had a growth spurt and broke into FC Duttlenheim's first team, aged 16."

6'3". For some reason, I thought he was a fallback, but Wiki is saying he was a midfielder.

Maybe he played both positions, and that's why given his nickname, he signed a fullback called Manu 2 partner Paddy in midfield.

He won us the title in his first season. In my life, that elite group contains Spunky, Anders, Manu, Overmars, Sol and Mad Jens. I'm not counting Linighan, only those who really contributed to winning the title {so Wreh's cup heroics don't count.} But Grimster and Van Bronck both played over 20 league games.
