    Ethan with England

Nwaneri is amongst a group of young players temporarily making up the numbers in the England training camp in the US ahead of the arrival of the 4 x Arsenal and 1 x Palace selections.

Ironic that Ethan is there while MLS isn't. Even more so that Eze was selected ahead of MLS.

Interesting comments in other thread about Norgie's influence on the Arsenal squad during the season. I wonder if Jordan Henderson fulfils a similar role with England? Can't think of any other reason why he would be chosen ahead of Wharton.

Or that Madueke was selected ahead of anyone......

I think you are right about Henderson. He is effectively a cheerleader.

Maybe he's a good tourist. You need one experienced player of that sort, like Poldi for Germany.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
