Actually, I thought he was being an absolute bag of **** from first whistle. Constantly ignoring blatant fouls and then refusing to let us take a corner, which I dont think i have ever seen before.

PSG obviously had words concerning our dark arts and blatant time wasting. There?s a fair chance he?d been got at..

I saw a clip of Clattenburg saying that certain clubs (Barcelona, Real, PSG) tended to give gifts to referees. Watches, tablets etc. But the gifts only materialised if they won the game.

Nothing ever said. But the gifts were on display before the game and then magically appeared (or didnt) in their dressing room after the game.

    That is bent.

Don't you remember Zico in '78? match-winning goal disallowed because Clive Thomas had blown up for full-time as the corner was actually in the air to him.

Although Thomas was technically correct and the law has never been amended, nowadays, refs are encouraged to use common sense and avoid blowing the final whistle during a live attacking phase.

    So that's alright then
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

It did seem to change a bit, but he could have sent Mosquera off.
