I spent the whole of Wed & Thurs just goofing around on Youtube - mostly hunting down stuff about our haters blubbing, wailing and eating sh1t

Scousers did it twice. Civilised club. They gave us a standing ovation at Anfield '89. I'd love the next few years to be like 87-91 where it's us and them just fighting each other for the title. No Manc ****gibbons of either flavour, no Chavs etc etc etc. Just us and them at the top like GG {him, not me} and Dalglish.

My best Scouse mate from uni was congratulating us the other day and wishing us luck in the CL final so we could join that elite group that LFC joined in '77 and '84 of doing the domestic title and Big Ears double.

He's like me - wants us two fighting it out. No ManU, no financially-doped playthings. 2 real clubs with real history.

I loved all the African fans. They were all out celebrating in the streets and I saw two of them with goats. Different people in different cities in different countries, so it wasn't the same goat. One was white, in an Arsenal shirt, being walked on a lead. The other was brown with an Arsenal flag, being given a piggy {or goaty} back by his owner.

Made me proud to be a Gooner. I like goats. You see herds of them in the Parvati Valley which proves their holy.

I do wish we'd play more pre-season friendlies in Africa. But instead we play in America or Asia.

I know KSE's main thing is their Septic Soccer team but how many fans around the world came out when they won the World Series or whatever it's called? Soon, Africa's gonna be rich and us having all those fans who've been with us since Kanu is going to be financially helpful so we should make them happy by playing over there. Let them pay half price for a goat ticket.

I think Emirates have a say in where we spend pre season. Hence the Asia trips. And the breaks in Dubai

And the sun is shining, Peter. The football gods are pleased.

I've just been walking about, head high, smile wide. Enjoying the sound of the birds & bees.

    Life is good.

I must have got something stuck in my eye on a couple of occasions when watching some of the compliations that the club / fans have created.

We did play in South Africa the other month. I happened to be down there at the time for a wedding. Nelson Mandela was the guest of honour.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

We are going to Budapest as the champions of England.

And I think we can give PSG a game. But that is for next week.

For now I have been incredibly gracious and humble with a lot of friends who support other clubs. I've ignored their vitriol all season and courteously accepted their grudging congratulations.

Because there is a way to win. It is a wonderful opportunity to show some class.

I am a pretty ****ing bad loser and I am ok with that.
But I cant stand a bad winner....

    That's a disgrace. We have all these genuine Gooners in Africa but we'll lunch them out for a bunch of Arabians {who've never come up with one decent footballer in the whole continent, unlike Paddy V, Kanu, Lauren, Kolo, Togonator, Song, Mo, Auba, Wigwam etc. They haven't even got a Gervinho, let alone an Ebou?.}

In a decade of two, the African fan base will be worth far more than Emirates's money. We should encourage them, they really love us in a way that no airline ever can.
