We need to absolutely batter Burnley and/or pray for Bournemouth to do something or it?s all over.
They'll be resting players for the Conference Micky Mouse Cup

Don't be that way John - our only European trophies were every bit as Mickey Mouse

It isnt the opposition that worries me. It's the occasion.

If we go there needing to win, it really is 50/50. No idea what will happen.....

I find it disturbing the way every pundit has disregarded the Palace game, as if they?re a fly to be swatted away from your Pimms on a hot day.
They?ve completely overlooked our ability to fark up against anyone from top to bottom.

Are you assuming the win against Burnley is a given?

While I e that we can **** up anything, I think the reason we're expected to win if that the lovely Eagles manager has said he'll rotate everyone to rest them for their final.

    {And as an aside, not a bad 12 months for a team that had never won a trophy before. FAC, Charity and Ganpati willing a Euro bling to boot.}

If he's got any sense, he'd not only rest the first XI but all 7 or so subs he could expect to potentially use. No point in risking an injury to your 3rd CH. Might need to bring him on to shut up shop in Europe.

So we could be playing their kids.

He isnt going to take the piss that much. He'll rest 4 or 5 but not all of them. And if he fielded the kids, we would NEVER hear the end of it....

And we still might not win

We struggle enough in most games. Add the pressure of a title showdown and there is not telling how badly we could **** it up.

Beat Burnley (please God!), and cross our fingers for Tuesday night.

60 mins in and it's still 0-0. Word spreads from Manchester that they're 2-0 up. Palace score from a corner.

30 mins to score 2 and rescue the title.

Even the positive me is thinking 1-0 up with 20 to play, City home and dry against Villa.

We drop deeper and deeper as injury time draws nearer.... a succession of balls into the box and corners.

I can hardly stand to think about it

    'And it falls to WHAARRRTTTOONNNNNNN'.

Arsenal players crumble to their knees as news from Manchester makes its way onto the pitch. Meanwhile; Wharton has removed his shirt and has jumped into the Palace supporters who are in a state of ecstasy.

    I think I have PTSD.
