I just watched our last CL final highlights

    Both goals through Almunia

    Henry misses a great chance

The football gods owe us one and no mistake

I remember Henry starting that game on fire...

But he did have a habit of not performing in the big games (apparently)

Yes, fantastic touch and turn and then didn't bury an easy finish.

Until the red card I thought we were going to win comfortably.

I don't remember much of the game, just the red card, the goal and the last 10 mins

was very much the end of an Era too, Cole, Campbell, Pires all departing after, Bergkamp retiring,

The weird phase where Wenger tried to replace players with lookalikes,

He had a chance. At 1-0, with around 15 minutes left. Through on the right hand channel. Clear shot across the keeper. The type of goal he scored 100 times.

I watched that almost in slow motion as he underhit a weak shot that the keeper easily saved.

That goes in, we win. When he missed that I feared the game was up

Completely fagged out by that time, wasn't he.

That's the thing about playing against ten men; you won't lose.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."
