There are four clauses they look at when considering a red for obvious goalscoring opportunity. I'd say this was doubtful on all four.

Proximity of defender, direction of play, distance from goal, likelihood of controlling it.

Which is exactly why the sending off of Saliba at Bournemouth last season, by var, was such a scandalous decision.
