Arteta is clearly fed up with. His post match interview spoke of wanting a second but our attacks breaking down for ?various reasons? in the final third.

Gyokeres is gone in the summer. Mark my words.
Well, maybe that wont be Arteta's decision. ...

Saka was a breath of fresh air when he came on. Odegaard was ticking too.

Let?s hope Eze and Kai?s injuries aren?t too serious
I will look forward to seeing Saka on Wednesday. At least in part because it means I wont have to watch Madueke

I?d suggest that his new five year contract as reported by BBC will give him a say in the matter.

I'd suggest that report is *******s. No way they make that decision right now. That's for the summer.

He does have one advantage over our other forwards. He manages to play an entire game without getting injured.

So you will be seeing plenty more of him

That's because it's so easy to get the ball off him that our opponent's defenders don't need to get too aggressive. They just gently interrupt whatever he's trying to do and he cedes possession without much fuss ( apart from falling over ).

He's being clever. As there is generally not team mate within 50 yards of him there is little point in getting injured trying to shield the ball. Much better to fall over, complain at the ref and get back up and wait for the next time the ball comes sailing up in your general direction with three defenders around you and no support......

I had to pause for breath there

It may shock you to know this but not all football clubs are run like playthings for 8 year olds.

If that means anything at all, said meaning is lost on me.

I've seen no confirmation of a new contract. Just statements from both parties that it will be addressed in the summer.

Which is how professional organisations operate.

I?ll support him while he wears an Arsenal shirt but he will DEFINITELY be sold in the summer. Nowhere near good enough.
Maybe they didn't view Pope bringing him down as a goalscoring opportunity because it was him?

It still was a , imo
