Not sure that I can watch tonight. The vitriol if we go out will be unbearable.

At least Arteta has identified 'three issues' in our attack which will be addressed tonight. Presumaly the three are 'Gyokeres', 'Trossard' and 'Martinelli'. He said he's not going to tell us what they are but we'll find out tonight.

As for Sunday; I'm positive I cannot watch that. Phone off and a long walk in silence until at least 19:00, I think.

I'd say this to anyone. You have to watch tonight, and you have to watch on Sunday. You cant quit now. Take your medicine.

Once we lose at City i wont be watching another league game this season. I'll sit through the champions league if we are still in it, but I'm not going to watch the miserable last whimpers of the title race.

Sunday is going to be horrible and humiliating, but it has to be faced. Sorry, but we deserve it. We will get untold stick from the entire footballing world. And we deserve that as well.

We'll have those city ****s pouring it on and taking the piss. Haaland parading around like a gay viking, that **** Cherki ball juggling and looking for a reaction.

We've brought this on ourselves. We've made enemies of everyone with this pitiful, cynical, unwatchable football. And it has cost us the title.

It should cost Arteta his job, and a few of those players their contracts.

But that is all a conversation for Monday.

I'm not having it that Arteta should go. Not given how far he has taken us. He needs at least two more years.

But I really don't think I can watch it. The AFCB game made me so miserable. Then I woke up in the night and remembered what had happened - and couldn't get back to sleep again

Then I woke on Sunday with some hope that City might drop points to Chelsea. Then they proceeded to eviscerate them

And you think you deserve at least two more years of this??

If he rocks up at City and we go after them, with aggression, pace and invention, then I might change my mind even if we lose.

If he does that in the final five games, trying to rack up the goal difference (pure fire, as it were) then I might change my mind.

But he wont. And we all know it.

He isnt going to win the fans back after this. If he stays, next season will be absolute poison and we'll be right back where we were in the last days of Wenger, undoing all the good work Arteta did in bringing the club back together.

We need a fundamental change if we want to move from second to actually winning something. Ive given up hope of Arteta providing it.

I dont want him to go, but I'm afraid he has to.

I believe that with the resourcing comparible to rivals (and we are way, way short of that in attacking areas) then he will play the brand of football which he has shown is his preference in previous seasons. However - his job is to make us competitive and with current personnel that is not necesarily easy.

Sack him and he'll be at United or City and will come back to haunt us. Mark my words.

Re: Sunday; I really think it would be foolish to try and play them at their own game. We'd get battered. There is also the issue of goal difference as you correctly point out.

If we lose narrowly then he will have to go pure fire for the remaining 5 games.

It is exactly those sentiments that guarantee we will lose on Sunday. Their weaknesses are structural and defensive. They are vulnerable to counter attacks. Vulnerable through the base of midfield. But you have to get to those vulnerabilities. We wont.

If you try and sit in and defend against them, defeat is inevitable. It is exactly what we'll do and exactly what will happen.

We drew 0-0 there playing with 11 behind the ball last season. We can do that again.

No, we drew 2-2 there last season, with 10 men behind the ball and conceded a last minute equaliser.

Two years ago we defended and drew 0-0. But we were a better side then.....
