It says we need to sell a first team player this summer to balance the book......

So we have to get rid of someone and I assume the only spending will be if we make any money from selling more players - something we're woeful at.

How has MA let us get into this state? We really have put all our eggs in one basket, it really is all or nothing this season.

Tbh, I said in Jan that I was happy with the squad and didn't want anyone. But what if we don't win one or more of the big two?

It's a pity that neither Ethan or the young doctor are left wingers as opposed to right. The last match was one of the few times that neither Leo nor Gabby produced on the left, though it was Leo who put Kai through late on with a great diagonal ball.

The thing is we need this squad size. Even with 8 top defenders, 7 of whom can play CH, we've had to play Norgy there this season. And with 3 strikers we've had to play MnM. {I'll feel so sorry for him if he misses the WC.} We've had times when the only front 4 player on the bench was Ethan and he's out on loan now. We need this many world class players.

I still think we should have got more for Yakob given he'd prove himself in the PL and CL knock-outs. How is he only worth ?23m given he's coming to his peak years and he was only 25?

    Oh, chapeau, PJ.

But Sperz won't be able to afford him if they're relegated.

Lots of candidates for the door, tbf
    Trossard
    Jesus
White must be screaming for a move
    Martinelli - possibility
Norgaard- for Goretzke ? Keep seeing stuff

I?d like to see us call time on the fat Swede but I think Arteta will give him another season.
Madueke has to be getting seriously frustrated too. Looks as if his World Cup inclusions been flushed at this point. Pity, he?s done well in an England shirt

If we haven't completely tanked their value, MLS and Ethan will be favourites. Not convinced that he rates either of them.

Should have sold MLS last summer. He was worth real money then.

We always need one of them
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Odd discussion to be having just now, all the same. And he is not fat, he is merely big-boned

Well, hang on. He's been pretty much fit all season up to Christmas. And for the last month he has been on the bench rather than out injured.

I want to know what is going on with Ben White.

Feels like clickbait nonsense to me if for no other reason than that we don't know how this season will play out.

You think if we win the CL we will need to sell anyone? I don't.

Having said that, I can't imgine Norgaard or Trossard being here next year, and probably Ben White as well.

Those sales along with the additional money from domestic cup and CL runs should mean we can afford Wharton and a left sided attacking player, which is all we need.
