    2nd carwimb

Z4 M40i is impractical as f**k (but lots of fun). Treacherous to drive in bad weather, pot holes feel like bullets to the gut, it's so low it's really hard to judge space such as entering or exiting those stupid gates at Westfield Carpark where the curbs are so damn high and narrow... Main issue though is watching my dear Mum struggle to get in and out because it's so low. Just a spontaneous buy with not much thought.

Need a second car as a daily. Not looking to spend a fortune. I have found a DS9 E-Tense only 2 years old and 25k miles on the clock. Proper luxurious but because it's a DS and they are not cool it's only ?16k! They are normally 45k new. Crazy depreciation but I don't really care. Viewing it on the weekend.

Any other suggestions of what I should look at? 18k budget.

Don't ask me, John. I have a womens' car

Always had Land Rovers but this is one of them electric plug in-thingies. I love it, should've had one years ago.

Otherwise I know nothing of cars. Sorry.

Any VAG car with the EA888 engine

I would love an Arteon R but none in budget.

I had one of them. Great fun. In a straight line. Traded it in for the Octavia.

Hugely practical and less than 6 secs to 60 Enjoy.

For me, you cant go wrong with a C series Vauxhall Vectra, with dodgy paintwork up one side and nearly 200,000 on the clock.

    That is proper motoring

Funny you say that because I spotted this the other day. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-det...02601199251099

Seems in really good nick and would be loads of fun (in a straight line). And for just 5k if it fell apart it's not the end of the world.
