"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

Anyone else think we wouldn't have got that penalty?

It's a real mess. Trouble is, there are so many non-football people involved in football now that many probably, genuinely, do not see it.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that people somewhere even believe Anfield '89 was a fit up

Anfield 89 is now officially 'before records began'. So it sort of didn't happen.

it started to look a bit comical imo.

I know they were trying to get back into the game but seemed a bit over the top with the goalie going up and a silly red card.

Which year was it we won the title after some far eastern betting syndicate paid the {AFC-supporting} groundsman at Wimbledon {or whoever} to pull the lights just after the 2nd half kicked off with it at 0-0?

    We weren't playing well then.

The game was replayed in the middle of a winning run that led to the title.

Just like we wouldn't have won in '89 without Hillsborough, but that didn't have anything to do with far eastern betting syndicated paying some Gooner to crush everyone to death.
