It's a real mess. Trouble is, there are so many non-football people involved in football now that many probably, genuinely, do not see it. Originally Posted by Peter

it started to look a bit comical imo.
I know they were trying to get back into the game but seemed a bit over the top with the goalie going up and a silly red card.

We weren't playing well then.
The game was replayed in the middle of a winning run that led to the title.
Just like we wouldn't have won in '89 without Hillsborough, but that didn't have anything to do with far eastern betting syndicated paying some Gooner to crush everyone to death.
