    The next revolution in football will be

    every goalkeeper being able to actually catch high balls and crosses.
    "Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

    "But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

    That will be a big blow to the renaissance of the 'old fashioned' centre forward. At least Ted Drake was allowed to bundle the keeper into the net and call it a goal.

    After the 'new' breed of keepers dominate, then we'll really start looking for 'old fashioned' centre forwards.

    Nobody's heart is really in it at the moment.

    If we get old fashioned centre froward, wont that lead to old fashioned centre backs? I do hope so. They are the guys I really miss

    Martin Keown. He didn't mind where he put his face...
    Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.
