Really do think that having Havertz back will be such a big boost for us. Can't come soon enough.

Dunno Rich. He's bit 'Peter Crouchy' for my liking. For every goal he scores he bungles five sitters.

Btw, did you see the Chav's goal from the corner was offside?
I don't believe it Ganps - VAR would have intervened, surely?

Have you seen him now? Must have put on at least two stone of muscle over the summer. He's a class act.

Also scored 15 in 36 last season - and played as an 8 in a decent chunk of those games. That's a better return than Gyokeres will ever get for us.

I have seen it. It is definitely offside.

It is a subjective call. The guy who is offside doesn't do much but could be considered to be preventing the defender from defending the ball.

As far as I am aware, VAR didn't spot it. But I'm sure they will claim they did.

Can hardly remember how good he is. Aside from 20 minutes at Old Trafford he has been gone longer than Jesus (our one).

I thought it didn't look right at the time but they never mentioned anything about a possible offside. This further convinces me that VAR is led by the TV comms.

Far more concerning is the American football style goalmouth blocking tactics. Literally pinning and scrumming a player out of the game.
One in the Chelsea box at the weekend was ridiculous.
When was this acceptable. I?m up for contact but some of these blocking efforts are WWF moves.

Wasn't this one of the things they were going to clamp down on this season? Although Newcastle did win a penalty and Spurs last night for exactly this. It looked a bit soft compared to what normally gets allowed these days...
