You'll win nothing with teenagers, they're all too busy watching porn and listening to pop music.

    Bring back Winterburn, imo.
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Jeez, Wes, give it a rest.

He's a teenage FB paying out of position. I remember Hector getting rinsed in similar circs and he learned from it pretty much straight away. We've managed to rest players between playing the NLD and the team 2nd in the league while beating one of the only two other unbeaten CL teams.

What is wrong with you, mate? Had a dodgy merguez?
Just a comment, GG! Loved the night, the performance and love this team.

But MLS was poor defensively, very poor. I'd be worried going into a big game with him at LB if I'm honest. I think Arteta might actually play one of the left footed CBs in that case. Given Calafiori's injury record it's a concern.

Still, we're the best team in Europe

I know, Wes. It was just I was totally buzzing after giving the Hun their first defeat of the season and playing them off the park in the second half and when I come here, the first comment I see was slagging off one of our players.

Zubi gave away a goal in the NLD, Big Willy did in the Bernebau. Sheet happens.

MLS looked fine in the CL knockouts last year. When he has a run of games, he's great. In his few appearances so far, he's made two great assists. And he hadn't put a foot wrong. He didn't have big Gabby next to him organising the defence. That might have played a part. Tbh, I think we should be rotating him more, certainly bringing him on when the game's won. Also Benny Blanc as we don't want Timber to be felled like he was at Forest.

We added 3 forwards and in the NLD, we still had MnM up top with just Gabby and Ethan on the bench. He needs more minutes, too.

But as P said last night, the team's grown up in the last 3-4 years. Harder for a kid to break in with this much quality and experience.

Also, after all our summer signings {when you include Hinchappy for Yakob} we suddenly had a stunning hand of cards. But adding Easy as well was like getting a Joker as well. Just need our 3 strikers back, pray that Leo isn't actually injured and hope Gabby has no set backs and comes back playing the best footie of his life so far.

I don't think I've ever approached a transfer window hoping we don't sign anyone, just that all our players get and stay fit.

There was talk of us buying Rodrygo in the summer for 80 mil. Now I wouldn't even want him on loan. {As long as Leo's not out long term.} When have we ever sat there thinking "I don't want the Real Brazza superstar, even if he's free"?

I would like Leo to get a contract extension. He's suddenly asked for one saying "Actually, I was happy to take the pay rise to be a squard player and then get one final pay day. Now I'm happy to stay here for the rest of my career even if I just end up being an impact sub." Good man, that's the attitude. Hope he keeps signing one year extensions like DB10 did.

In his first full year, he scored 17 goals, mostly from LW. That's what Anders and Marcy got when they won us the league and more than Bobby P ever did.

Gabby M's scored in every CL game he's played in this season - Ganpati willing that is a Divine omen.

Proper rock and roll, though. Not the corporate crap that passes for it these days.

For me the Playboy mags at the barber were the best I could do.

Oh, and the Stones, Beatles, old skool R&B etc. Lost my way for a while in the early 80s with Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin but eventually realised the error of my ways and returned home. No issue with pop, of course, in small doses only.

I was watching some old Zeppelin footage from 73 at Madison Square Garden the other day. And thinking about what a pillock you are

Jimmy at his peak was amazing.....

I can assure you, Peter, that other than when I am posting on AWIMB I never think about what a pillock you are

You can like Led Z all you want, I can listen to the odd song occassionally only, but what I will not allow is to have them be called rock n roll.

Little Richard is rock n roll. So is Eddie Cochrane and Elvis. Some Stones and early Beatles as well.

Listening to a Jimmy Page guitar solo is not rock n roll. Not ever.
