somewhat sloppy in possession and I was convinced we were about to concede a second. I therefore had to endure a deeply unpleasant feeling of anxiety up until our 4th. Furthermore, because of the whole "from the half way line" thing, I suspected the Gods of Football had decided to intervene on Spurs' behalf

I must admit I was fuming, as we stupidly gave them a sniff that they didn't deserve.

I was fuming, but I was very happy that we didn't retreat and surrender control. There were a few minutes where were not totally in control of the game but that is inevitable when you make a mistake like that. I was quite happy that we regained control fairly quickly.

Aside from that one error, I can't think of a single negative from yesterday. A genuinely enjoyable game

I suspect a lot more enjoyable than Sunday will be. SSN having a full on love in that Palmer is back in training and should be available.

We need to take the game to them and give them a chasing.

There was a time that any 'big game' that didn't result in a 5 goal pasting was a relief.

The 5 or 6 nil at Chelsea being the worst of those as I recall. One where they sent off the wrong player, can't even remember our LBs name now I'm so
