Good to have you back, all better?

Odd that MLS has been dropped by Tuchel and also not in U21 side

    Don't worry; Bayern is Finnish
"Plenty of strikers can score goals," he said, gesturing to the famous old stands casting shadows around us.

"But a lot have found it difficult wearing the number 9 shirt for The Arsenal."

Nice to have you back. We were worried about you

You haven't missed anything other than constant discussions as to whether we are **** or brilliant.

Welcome back. Will be Asheswimb soon enough anyway so we can forget about all the football stuff.

Until around day 3 of the first test when it becomes obvious that we have no chance of taking 20 wickets in any of the matches and the series is effectively dead.

Then we can start discussing the plans for the next ashes tour.....

I listen to the Tailenders podcast feat. Sir James Anderson. Now I don't know if he has any inside info but he is going with a bowling attack in Perth of:

    Archer
    Wood
    Carse
    Tongue
    Stokes

So... No spinner (other than Root / Jacks if he plays and bats 3). But 5 bowlers who can bowl at over 90mph (well over in some cases).

What I don't know is how that deck in Perth plays at the new ground. It's a drop-in I know that much.... but either way; their batting doesn't look all that so we have at least got the gas for the first time in about 20 years to do well out there.

It's certainly not supposed to be as bouncy as the Waca was. Still a very potent bowling line up, assuming they all don't break.

We certainly have the 'wheels' this time. And without question, Archer on fire is unplayable and whatever the Aussies say, they are scared of him.

I think Atkinson has to play and could do well there. I'm not convinced about the others. I like Wood and Carse but they'll need to be a their best to make a contribution.

The spinners are likely to prove useless.

We can score heavily over there, no question. But wickets is key...

    Yup. When they're 436-5 at tea on day 3 in response to our 280 ao. {See what I did there?}
