You also are driving a Golf. To anyone who isn't knowledgeable about cars, a Golf R will look the same as a 1.4 entry level Golf... And that's a car for old ladies... That's just a fact mate and I really really do love a Golf R but that's the reason I've never considered one it just doesn't look cool.
Also got an Octavia vRS. At 300bhp.
A very practical car for motorway driving and shopping. That sort of thing.

The Golf drives like a dream. Even in snow. Whereas most BMWs would break down in tears at the thought of rain...

A couple of wolves in sheep clothing there and fun to drive.

Both for ?60k less than my mate paid for his M5...

I'd take a Octavia VRS in a heart beat. Especially the newer models in the lime green. That is a sexy car.

Not sure about it being 300bhp tho pretty surely they clock in about 250. Is yours chipped?

Also think that BMW breaking down easily thing is a myth.

Remapped to the Golf GTI Clubsport settings. Possibly right on the limit of power for a fwd car. Maybe a little too far.

The same engine and gearbox as the Golf R, of course.

The lime green is a great colour. As is the orange one. Mine is neither of those.

BMW - not breaking down, as such, well they do. But more the thought of anything other than a dry surface makes them wet their pants.

Very nice. Bet it's fun to drive.

    Of course, the DSG gearboxes.
One had a mechatronic failure and the other a gearbox control unit failure. Apart from that. Spot on.

They are fun. 6 points, so far
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

Opposite is true in the Z4. Can't play anything above 50% volume then it becomes unlistenable

Why would you need talkSport that loud?

    TalkSport sounds brilliant on mute.

    I listen to Techno.

Last sound system in one of our vehicles that didn't just come as standard was 3 x 18" 600w bass scoops, and two 500w monitors each with a 15" bass driver and 1.25" compression horns with a passive crossover in each monitor box. Ran them with a 3kw bass amp and a 1kw amp for the monitors out of an active x-over so the monitors were just doing the mids and tops. Sounded lush.

Admittedly, compared to yours, we had to park our E-reg Ford Cargo truck, unload it all, set it up, plug it into the genny and then find a mate to DJ/Liveset it, but it sounded ****ing lush.
