A great car basically a sports car disguised as a hatchback so saying it performs no better is a bit misleading. My Z4 M40i absolutely has it beat in a straight line 0-100mph very comfortably. Wouldn't fancy it's chances on a twisty road tho against AWD.
You also are driving a Golf. To anyone who isn't knowledgeable about cars, a Golf R will look the same as a 1.4 entry level Golf... And that's a car for old ladies... That's just a fact mate and I really really do love a Golf R but that's the reason I've never considered one it just doesn't look cool.
