Poor old villa. That felt like an old fashioned game at old Trafford from 15-20 years ago. Appalling refereeing.

Yeah pretty ****e, 0 for 2 on who I wanted to miss the CL. Newcastle and Chelsea both missing out would have been gorgeous.

    Ah well.

Silly season begins. Seems to be more noise around Sesko than the other strikers. Zubimendi seems to be assumed as happening at this point. Not a scooby on a wide attacking player.

And no idea at all why we would be linked with a central defender given Kiwiori and White are second choice.

Agree about the defensive options, we appear to have adequate cover, unless Arteta is factoring in more acl?s,/ hamstring lay offs.
Kudus for me as the wide option. Proper handful down both flanks and scores goals.
Gold would probably be asking for silly money though

Sometimes, I feel we take advantage of an opportunity in an area we don't necessarily need to strengthen, if we aren't able to spend that money on the right options for the areas we do.

We might bring in a defender but at this point I am sure it is not a priority.

On the plus side, that ref has basically handed Villa the Europa League. Assuming they can beat Palace. Emery loves a bit of Europa League
