    Thought he did very well. The situation and high line probably suited him but he did well enough for us to ask why it was wasn't tried earlier.

    With trossard probably injured and Merino suspended, I guess he will get another chance against Newcastle.

    Perhaps we don't need to sign a striker.....

    The reports seem to be that Gyokeres is a done deal (alongside Zubimendi)

    He's had a stonking season in Portugal. Preferable to Delap who is off to United

    I agree with Peter here though happy to be wrong. Also why can he not head the ball? Seems a pretty stocky fellow but goes to jelly when he gets a headed chance.

    The saving grace is that his wages aren't too high so perhaps allows more flexibility as we go through the window.

    67 goals in 65 appearances for Sporting.....not too shabby
