Had Villa not won at Bournemouth, we would have been safe now on 67. We may not need anything, we may only need one point. Two is definitely enough.

But it is hard to see us getting anything against newcastle based on our past 4 or 5 home games. So we may well need to win at Southampton which, as city showed, is not as simple as we thought.

It is ridiculous that it has come to this

Failing to beat some of the 'lesser' teams at home.

Losing to some of the 'lesser' teams at home.

Forest have really **** the bed just lately too. They looked fairly nailed on for a CL slot. I?m not sure they?d have got through the pre qualifiers, which is something we have to avoid.
Just need Villa to finish above the spivs.

If he did lose the dressing room, looks like he might have found it again at half time

This is much better. I can live with this, even if we screw it up.

I?m saying nothing at this stage, we?re completely dominating but it?s bloody Anfield

    **** them, and **** Anfield.

I'm just pleased with the attitude.

The inevitable red card. No doubt 10 mins of added time and a Bindippers winner.

I still hold a deep grudge against Anthony Taylor for decisions against us versus Villa in the season opener years ago but he resisted two opportunities to give Partey a second yellow when we were already down to 10 men having let him off a second card earlier as well.

And he 'only' added 5 minutes!
