Thread: The Cull

  1. #71
    Back to business…

Why isn’t Xhaka gone as yet and why is Bellend still here? Guendouzi went for peanuts…

Can see why they got Tavares, quite pleased if Ben White happens…don’t know anything about Sambi Lokonga

Still gutted about Martinez but when you think about it…he’s the No1 for Argentina now so you’re losing him for every World Cup qualifier / international now. Can’t be good every international break flying all the way to South America and back.

Will take its toll on him and Villa.

    Roll on Hibs tomorrow

Agreed. And Partey- no! Replacing him would cost money we dont have.

Our sporadically rampaging Italian full-back seems to spend most of his time on the physio table. Sell.

Whilst Partey seems to do the hard things well and the simple things really quite badly. Granted, 1 in 30 of his distance shots trouble goalkeepers and 1/5 he has a decent game. Not consistent enough for that position. Release and Zubimendi may be the answer.

And I think he is our most technically accomplished midfielder, by some distance. Find a better player and let's see how much they cost.....

The Italian lad.... yeah, I suppose that is currently a judgement call. The injuries are a concern.

Agreed. Can't quite put my finger on it. Does he look a bit like a horse? Lovely hair, mind.

He looks every inch the Italian defender. But he is always injured. The whole point of an Italian centre back is to injure other people.
