I can offer one crumb of comfort. If we do go down to 10 then we will revert to the tactics that we deployed against City with great effect.

- Madrid are nowhere near as good as City at manipulating the ball in tight spaces.
- Let them have all of the ball. We don't care.
- We can be happy with 15% possession.
- Slow game down / get cramp / change boots as much as we can. Slow the game down and make it a turgid affair.
