In fairness, Declan almost said as much in his interview with TH14 after the match. Said he thought the wall didn't look right which was why he said to Saka he was going to have a pop instead of crossing it, as Jover wanted him too.

You can thank me for that. Not that long ago I was moaning that we hadn't scored one in years and asked why, when B and Dec can take such perfect corners, they can't do the same with FKs. That's Ganpati magic and witchcraft - I had a witch helping us last night.

As I said elsewhere, I hope Dec now does a Titi. Once he scored his first FK he started banging them in and became as good as anyone around. Would be nice to get double digit FKs as well as double digit corner goals, esp as we don't seem to get as many pelanties as we used to, or other teams get, or teams get against us.

When Odin's at his best, he does pirouettes. There was a goal {last year?} where he did a double pirouette in the box by the byline before passing for a goal.

Well last night he did his first pirouette since he came back from injury. This is a promising sign.
