If I recall correctly England was the VAR when Liverpool were denied a clear goal against Spurs, and he f*cked it up.

Pretty sure Martin Samuel wrote an article in the Times absolutely eviscerating him.

Well I've never seen the ref blow the full time whistle, then get moaned at and let the game continue.
Also the rules on freekicks seem to change week to week when it comes to us.

Even the guy who was 'fouled' didn't think that was a penalty

He had no control of the game at all. First time Raya had a kick out of the hand charged down he saw it and totally ignored it. The second time he had completely turned his back on play and was running up the pitch.

Completely useless. Shouldn't be refereeing Sunday league.

In terms of general competence, rather than individual decisions, that is the worst refereeing performance I can remember seeing.
