When you add in the fact the all-important opener was scored by an Ajax fan and ex-player (and loved the fact that Timber did mention that after the game) probably had a bad night

Great header by Timber tbh and great work by Rice for the cross

I have a Dutch friend who supports PSV and Spurs - he's not replying to my messages today ...
Let him hide. No amount of stalling can lessen his humiliation. K?sekopf, isn?t it ? Although I?m not sure what the Dutch call the Germans in return. I?m sure SC can enlighten us.

‘Moffen’ is the usual derogatory term, although there is no agreement about what it means.

I confess I don’t like ‘em. Their food and beer is good mind.

Bier, Bratwurst, Blondes With Big Bangers. And Beamers. Can't say fairer than that really; fine people.

My only issue with them is they are not 'cool'... you'd never get a German Rolling Stones, for example.

They do try, they have some decent bands and a pretty good Rockszene (as does France, in fact).

The trouble with Germany is it's like the whole country is created and maintained by somebody's mum, including the fun. In a word, it's a nation of people who would know precisely how to organise a piss-up in a brewery
