This current Manchester United side is absolutely dreadful.

    Long may it continue.
Other clubs never came into my thoughts once I knew Arsenal wanted to sign me.

Indeed but in time honoured tradition, they still put us out of the Cup and we?ve yet to go to their place in the league. ?
    My scars run deep.

I'll be very cross if we drop points there. I see the money grabbing Chido Obi got a 3 minute run out.

Noticed that. Their fans were working themselves into a froth as to why Amorim introduced him so late on. It seem a pointless move considering Hojlund seems to have lost sight of his role on the pitch.

They are pretty much where we were when Aeteta arrived, and have been for about 18 months.

They need a complete rebuild, the way we did it. But their ownership model is ****ed. I can't see how they fix this

I'm becoming a tiny bit concerned about our activity this summer, post Edu.

We are signing a very different type of player this summer. I do hope Arteta is on board with all this. That relationship is absolutely key....

Tried to post an hour ago but site went down. If I copied it, it's this......

Will reply to that tomorrow, when sober.

But now, before I go off for my final tramp cider, I bring you a quote from BBC sport. That Amorim chap {or however it's spelled}:

"We show the performance today, so my players spoke, for me, really loud."

Does he not realise how that sounds? Which country is he from? Do they have the same concept of either irony or sarcasm that we do? Is it the players spoke, as far as he is concerned really loud? Or the players spoke for him really loud?

Hope Burnley batter them this Saturday.
